A date window used to narrow a content search down to what was released inside it — see co.cafeyn.cgs.api.content.Issues.all.
Both bounds are inclusive, and both are absolute instants. Release dates are compared in UTC, so ofYear builds its bounds in UTC too rather than in the device's time zone: a device in UTC+2 asking for 2026 gets exactly the issues filed under 2026, not a window shifted two hours off it. That comparison is the backend's: a release date such as IssueShort.releaseDate reaches you as the start of its day in the device's time zone, so testing it against these bounds on the device can put a 1 January issue in the previous year east of UTC.
